Congratulations to Dr. Amanda Collins, who has received one of the three grants awarded from the American Psychological Foundation (APF) John and Polly Sparks Early Career Grant for Psychologists Investigating Serious Emotional Disturbance (SED)!
Her grant, titled “Time-varying and idiographic models to determine short-term dynamics of suicide risk,” will investigate the dynamic changes in self-injurious thoughts and behaviors, affect, and depressive symptoms during the high-risk period for suicide for adolescents following discharge from the inpatient psychiatric unit.
