Congratulations to Dr. Taylor Burke on her third R01 grant!

Congratulations to Dr. Taylor Burke on receiving her third NIH R01 award. Suicide is the 11th leading cause of death in the United States, and nearly 80% of individuals who die by suicide receive outpatient healthcare in the year prior. This project will develop and evaluate suicide risk prediction models and a precision treatment rule that use clinician suicide risk assessment and routine electronic health record data to help clinicians detect the patients at highest risk and guide targeted treatment decisions in outpatient behavioral health practice. By partnering with clinicians and health system administrators, the team will ensure that the tools developed can be successfully implemented and sustained in real-world health systems.
