Project PRISM is a fully remote randomized controlled trial evaluating a self-guided digital therapeutic for adults: Amplification of Positivity – Cannabis Use Disorder (AMP-C). This digital treatment was designed to target reward dysfunction, a common deficit in those with both Cannabis Use Disorder (CUD) and Major Depressive Disorder (MDD). 

 

Participants will be asked to first complete several screeners of questionnaires, behavioral tests, and clinical interviews to determine their eligibility for an 8-week clinical trial. During the clinical trial, the participant will be prompted to download a mobile application to their phone, complete modules on the mobile application every week, and complete surveys regarding their mood and cannabis use every day. After the clinical trial period, the participant will complete follow-up sessions at 1, 3, 6, and 12 months. All study procedures will be completed online, and participants may receive up to $241 in compensation via Amazon gift cards.
