Congratulations to Dr. Rachel Walsh on her achievements!

Congratulations to Rachel on receiving an NIH K23 Award and on completing her postdoctoral fellowship a full year ahead of schedule!

Rachel’s K23, “Sleep and Circadian Timing Irregularities as Short-term Risk Factors for Adolescent Suicide: An Intensive Longitudinal Study,” focuses on improving short-term prediction of suicidal thoughts and behaviors in adolescents by examining how sleep and circadian rhythm disruptions contribute to suicide risk. Using intensive longitudinal methods, including actigraphy and biological measures of circadian functioning, her research aims to identify dynamic, actionable risk factors that can inform earlier and more effective intervention.

We are thrilled to celebrate both of these outstanding achievements and look forward to all that Rachel will accomplish in the years ahead.
